Centre Trains Nigeria Police On Human Rights,  War Against Corruption,  Conflict Resolution & Sustainable Security

The Centre for Civil Society and Justice in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force,  Abia State Command is presenting  a 3-day training of the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force,  Abia State Command,  Umuahia.

Speaking with Journalists before the opening ceremony on Monday,  the Convener of CCSJ and Convener for the training ,  Prince Goodluck Obi said the training with the theme “Human Rights,  War Against Corruption,  Conflict Resolution & Sustainable Security: A Way Forward In Democratic Policing” is part of the Inspector General of Police Agenda to sanitize the Force in meeting international policing standard.

The training is to be declared open by Zone 9 AIG and assisted by the Abia State Commissioner of Police,  CP Anthony Ogbizi.

Among the resource persons are Comrade Debo Adeniran,  Prof. Joshua Olusegun Bolarinwa,  Bar Nwabueze Chibuike,  Adewole Kehinde Adegbenga and Dr. Gloria Egbuji.

The training will come to an end on Wednesday with certificate presentation to the participants drawn from all the Police Divisions in Abia State.
