The Governor of Katsina State Rt. Hon.
Aminu Masari was speaking when he received the president of Daura Emirate Development Association – DEDA, Alhaji Aliyu Bala Daura with other community leaders during a courtesy call held at Government House Council Chamber, Katsina.
Governor Masari was happy that works for the completion of multi million naira Sabke Dam project had resumed in earnest.
The Governor noted that with the anticipated second term in office of President Buhari, the people of Daura stands to benefit from dividends of democracy.
He reminded them of the plan to construct standard rail line between Kano to Daura and other projects in the pipeline.
Alhaji Aminu Masari told Daura delegation that they should pride themselves that president Buhari hail from their locality.
He reminded them that the African Union -I AU recently agreed that he should lead the war against corruption in the African continent.
The Governor expressed gratitude to the delegation for using the visit to condole him over the demise of Senator Mustapha Bukar and the Madawakin Masari, Alhaji Isyaku.
Earlier, the leader of the DEDA delegation, Alhaji Aliyu Bala Daura said they were at Government House to show solidarity and appreciation for the projects executed in Daura Emirate.
Alhaji Aliyu Bala Daura cited example with the renovation and expansion of numerous primary and secondary schools, Daura General Hospital, and construction of Fago – kwasarawa – Jirdede – koza road among others.
He said they were at Government House to also condole with the Governor over the demise of senator representing Katsina North constituency Engineer Mustapha Bukar and the Madawakin Masari, Alhaji Isyaku.
