Kano State Police Command Arrest Kidnappers Of 4 Years Old Boy

The Kano State Police Command has rescued a kidnap victim; 4 years old Al-Amin Mustapha who Goron Dutse Qtrs, Kano that on Friday 31st August, 2018.

In a press release on Monday, 3rd September, 2018 by the Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Magaji Musa Majia, he said that on Friday 31st August, 2018, about 3:30pm, information was received from one Mustapha Muhammed of Goron Dutse Qtrs, Kano that his son, Al-Amin Mustapha was missing.

According to the Police spokesperson, he said that the father of the boy later was called via 08069777966 by unknown person and demanded N100,000 ransom for the release of his missing child

He further reiterated that immediately the report was received, detectives from Anti-Kidnapping Squad under able leadership of CSP Babagana Saje was mandated to investigate, rescue the victim and arrest the perpetrators by the Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP. Rabiu Yusuf.

“Investigation commenced immediately and the victim was rescued unhurt with no ransom paid, SP Magaji Musa Majia said

The suspects are Idris Ibrahim 19yrs old; Khalid Abdul Rahman 24yrs; and Ahmad Ibrahim Usman 20yrs, all of Kano residence. The principal suspect Idris Ibrahim confessed to have masterminded the operation and mentioned others as accomplices arrested in carrying out the heinous operation.

“The Command extends its profound gratitude to the IGP. Ibrahim K. Idris for providing the Command with advance technological facilities which we made good use of in arresting the suspects.

All suspects will be charged to Court for prosecution as soon as investigation is completed, the statement concluded.
