Masari Has Delivers On His Campaign Promises – Inuwa

The Secretary to the Government of Katsina, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa said Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari’s Administration has delivered on Campaign promises as dividends of democracy have been of tremendous benefits to the people of the state in the last three years.

Inuwa disclosed this while delivering his speech at his Local Government; Danmusa Local Government Area during the swearing in of the newly constituted Local Government Council Caretakers Transitions Committee.

According to Inuwa, the Masari led administration has scored high in areas of infrastructural development, security, education, agriculture and healthcare. He said the government have been able to positively touch the lives of the people in all these areas, especially the rural dwellers.

According to him, while the administration was faced with numerous problems at its inception, it had surmounted them and trudged ahead to set the state on the path of development. He said, the administration has delivered on most of its electoral promises and is on the verge on delivering more.

The Secretary to the Government said that the difference they made is the will to serve the common man judiciously and selflessly by the Governor “Let us start from the promise of employment, it has been fulfilled as this administration had employed thousands of people in the education and Health sectors”, Inuwa stated.

He sighted the current S-power programme that has employed 5000 people out of the labour market, which is unprecedented in the history of the state.

He further illustrated that during their campaign, they promised on economic revival through agriculture and this has been achieved through various interventions which include provision of fertilizer at affordable rate to farmers across the state.

Educating and orientating farmers on modern farming technique and various agricultural programme aimed at getting the youths to begin to see agriculture as a means of civilization practiced with dignity. The state is trying to create a new crop of farmers that would be exemplary.

In the area of infrastructure, Inuwa also reiterated that the government is building link roads across the state, adding that this administration in partnership with Federal Government is completing the Zobe Dam water supply to Katsina and environ.

The SGS said that the Masari led administration has restored security in all parts of the state through various interventions, provision of patrol vans, communication gadgets and by giving all the necessary support to security agencies.

It was gathered that prior to the Masari led Administration, 8-9 Local Governments were terrorised by the activities of armed bandits, cattle rustlers, which make people at the flashpoints have sleepless nights to the extent of distorting the normal day to day economic activities of farming and rearing of animals.
