No Policeman Can Slap A Sitting Governor – Youth Alliance

The Integrity Youth Alliance has called on Nigerians to ignore the stage managed drama by the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.

In a press release by the National Coordinator of the Integrity Youth Alliance, Kelvin Adegbenga, he said that reliable information gathered shows that Governor Fayose was never at the scene when the Police fired the tear gas.

“We can reliably tell Nigerians that Gov. Fayose was far away when the Police fired tear gas to disperse protesters; despite police warning against the protest.

Adegbenga further said that this is not the first time Gov. Fayose will be acting in such manner.

“The question we want an answer from Gov Fayose is: In the crowd of about 3,000 people, how come that it was only Gov. Fayose that was affected by the fumes of tear gas? He claimed that his neck was broken. Can tear gas cause a break of the neck?

“We called on Nigerians to listen carefully to the Channels Television footage of the scene and they will hear a voice at the background complaining that this trick will backfire to scare ordinary PDP members on election day‎.

We are bold to say that no Policeman can slap a sitting Governor. We challenge Gov Fayose to provide video evidence of the Police humiliation as we have not come across any among the various video been circulated on the social media, Adegbenga concluded.
