More congratulatory messages have trickled I to the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) President, Prince Adetokunbo Adeyinka Kayode (SAN, CON, FCIArb,FCITI) who assumed duty in the new capacity on 6th December, 2017.
Prince Kayode was a four-time cabinet minister in Nigeria during which he presided over the Ministries of Defence, Arts and Culture, Labor and Productivity, and Justice as well as Attorney General of the federation.
The latest of such is coming from the National President of the umbrella body of chamber of commerce, industry, mines and agriculture, Iyalode Alaba Lawson (MFR, FIoD, JP).
In the letter dated 19th December, 2017 which was made available to our correspondent, Iyalode Lawson said the entire Executives and Council members of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) are proud to be associated with him.
While describing the appointment as a clear manifestation of his charismas and sterling qualities as a thorough-bread professional whose wealth of experience is impeccable, she also placed on record that Prince Kayode’s immeasurable contributions to NACCIMA is unquantifiable.
“I am particularly thrilled and encouraged by your selfless service and more importantly, your penchant for the growth and development of our National Association at your personal expense. Jehovah shall replenish your purse in Jesus Name. Amen.
“I have no doubt in mind that you will exhibit your vast administrative acumen in the running of Abuja Chamber of Commerce, thereby enhancing its status, growth and development. May God help you in this endeavour in Jesus Name”, she emphasized.
Our correspondent can report that, the legal icon is bringing stupendous wealth of experience, expertise and midas touch to the chamber having acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge needed to steer the ship of the second largest chamber in Nigeria.
