SWAN Osun Congratulates Olagunsoye Oyinlola On His Election As National President Of Nigeria Golf Federation

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN,Osun State chapter has congratulated the newly elected president of the Nigeria Golf Federation and former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola on his well-deserved election.

The association, in a release jointly signed by the state chairman and Secretary of the association, Adeyemi Aboderin and Olufemi Olanipekun, described the election of the former military administrator of Lagos state as apt, considering his love and passion for the game and his contributions to the development of the game within and outside Osun state.

The released noted that the love exhibits by Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola for Golf has attracted many notable names to the game, including the Akinrun of Ikirun, Oba Rauf Olawale Adedeji, among others.

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, Osun State chapter therefore called on the national president of Nigeria Golf Federation, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola to use his influence and connections, including his wealth of experience for the development of the game across the country and attract more sponsors for the game.

While praying for a successful tenure of office, SWAN Osun also admonished the retired army General to ensure that his home state, Osun benefits immensely from his current position by ensuring that golf is given more publicity for many more to take to it.

The release further assured of the support of Sports Journalists in Osun State to work closely with the Nigeria Golf Federation in ensuring that its goals and objectives are achieved.

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, Osun State chapter equally congratulate other members of the newly elected executive committee of the Nigeria Golf Federation and wished them productive tenure of office as they settle down for the big task ahead.

SWAN Osun also congratulates all members of the Sports Federations newly elected into office and admonished them to leave up to the expectations of those who saddled them with the responsibilities.
