The Elombahs has been asked to make use of the Judiciary instead of resolving to media blackmail of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K Idris.
In a press release in Lagos on Friday by the National Coordinator of Integrity Youth Alliance, Kelvin Adegbenga while reacting to a publication in elombah.com titled “IGP Ibrahim Idris Has Crossed The Redlines Of His Constitutional Powers Requiring His Sack – SBCHROs”, he said the Elombahs keeps deceiving the populace with misinformation on their trial before a competent court of Law.
“We are not bothered by the statement signed by a purported “Southeast Based Coalition of Human Rights & Good Governance Organizations (SBCHROs)” as we are used to daily propaganda coming from the Elombahs while the IGP has taken the right steps in using the Court of Law to get Justice., Adegbenga said.
Adegbenga further reiterated that since the case is in Court and moreover the Elombahs has sued the IGP for N2billion, he wondered why the Elombahs decide to embark on media propaganda to blackmail the IGP and the Nigeria Police Force once again.
“If the purported “Southeast Based Coalition of Human Rights & Good Governance Organizations (SBCHROs)” thinks the Elombahs are wrongly detained, we implore them to approach the Court of Law just like the Elombahs has done instead of supporting blackmail, the statement concluded.
