Christmas carols have always carried a deeper meaning beyond melody. They celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, retell the Nativity story, foster community, and spread joy.
Through music, they explain profound theological truths, invite reflection, and unite people in shared feelings of hope and love.
In this timeless tradition, the 2025 Nigeria Police Christmas Carol stood out as a powerful expression of faith, unity, and national togetherness.
I wholeheartedly commend the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for hosting a colourful and highly successful 2025 Police Christmas Carol.
The event was not only spiritually uplifting but also excellently organised, reflecting thoughtful leadership and a clear understanding of the unifying power of faith and culture within a national institution like the Nigeria Police Force.
Special appreciation must go to the personnel of the IGP Secretariat, whose dedication and sleepless nights ensured the smooth planning and flawless execution of the event.
Their behind-the-scenes commitment demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, and loyalty to service, qualities that deserve national recognition.
The police choristers deserve exceptional praise for their inspiring performances, which captured the essence of the Christmas message.
Their harmonious renditions reminded the audience that the Police Force is not only about security and enforcement but also about humanity, faith, and shared values.
The evening was further elevated by the outstanding performances of the special guest artists, particularly Solomon Lange and Kunle Ajayi, whose music deeply resonated with the audience and added colour, depth, and spiritual richness to the celebration.
Notably, the dedication and attention to detail displayed by IGP Egbetokun were evident in every aspect of the event. From planning to execution, the IGP’s personal commitment transformed the carol into a memorable celebration of unity, faith, and goodwill, perfectly reflecting the true spirit of Christmas and the core values of the Nigeria Police Force.
The decoration of the Nigeria Police Resource Centre, Jabi, was simply outstanding. It surpassed all previous editions of the Police Christmas Carol, creating a warm, festive, and spiritually engaging atmosphere that left a lasting impression on all attendees.
In all, the 2025 Police Christmas Carol was more than an event; it was a statement. A statement that the Nigeria Police Force values faith, community, excellence, and national unity. For this, the Inspector General of Police and all who contributed deserve commendation and gratitude
Above all, everybody at the carol was well fed and took home a gift from Santa Claus.Â
