The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Command Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Ogundele Joshua Ayodeji has held his maiden general lecture with officers and men of the zone.
According to a press release signed by the Zonal Public Relations Officer, Zone 7 Command Hq, Abuja, DSP M.B Abdulkadir, said that this meeting marks a significant step towards familiarizing and educating officers and men of the Zone.
He emphasized the importance of aligning with the mission and vision of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun in repositioning the police force. The meeting catalyzed positive change and renewed commitment to professionalism.
During the lecture, the AIG passionately charged the officers to uphold the principles of integrity and accountability in their daily duties. He stressed the significance of having the fear of God and urged them to shun extortion, ensuring that the community’s trust is regained and maintained.
