The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Ogundele Joshua Ayodeji, decorated some of the newly promoted officers to their substantive ranks after the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, recommended their promotion and the Police Service Commission approved it.
According to a press release on Tuesday, 25th June 2024 signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 7 Command Headquarters, Abuja, DSP M.B Abdulkadir, said that some of the promotees include; Commander 21PMF Abuja, ACP Ifeanyi Aham Ohuruzo, promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Area Commander Life Camp Abuja ACP Habibu Rabiu, promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, and Administrative Officer Zone 7 CID Abuja CSP Doris Udolu Urowu-England, promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police.
While addressing the newly promoted officers, the AIG appreciated the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun for finding the officers worthy of recommendation for promotion. He congratulated and charged them to know that the new rank comes with more responsibilities. He advised them to be more dedicated to duty and to also keep to the ethics, discipline and standards of the Force. He further prayed for them to witness more promotions in the coming years.
The occasion was witnessed by the Management Team, other senior officers of the Zone, Family, Friends and well-wishers of the promoted officers.
