It is somewhat difficult writing about a man who is almost described as a repository of knowledge. A man whose command of lexis is incomparable. Nevertheless, as a matter of necessity I must not shy away from doing the needful.
Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze is a contemporary writer, essayist, commentator, critic, analyst, a democratic watchdog; hence is qualified to be described as complete squad. As with with him, those who wanted APC in Rivers state dead and buried were not only shown the way out but have been rendered politically irrelevant thereby embarking on an indefinite compulsory political leave as they have been disjointed and dislodged from the system.
The mention of the name alone in some quarters is the beginning of wisdom. At 64, Chief Eze as strong and active as a youth in his twenties. Always doing what he knows how to do best.
I will therefore not hesitate to recommend Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze for a national merit award alongside a presidential appointment as he deserves he deserves all.
This is because, Chief Eze have received more bullets than many holding national awards and positions.
Nonetheless, I am so confident that your day of reward is nearer than expected as I will use this medium to encourage you never to give up on the good works which you are doing and the risky onerous tasks which you have willingly and freely undertaken for the sake/love for our democracy and humanity.
To this end, I pray for unusual grace, strength from above, renewed vigor, sustainability, divine direction, wisdom and protection always.
Congratulations and happy 64th birthday to a seasoned scholar, politician, journalist, writer etc of international repute.
