DIG Logistics and Supply Commends Enugu Police Personnel Conduct During Presidential Election

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Department of Logistics and Supply and the DIG representing the South East in the Force Management Team, DIG John Ogbonnaya Amadi, lectured officers and men of Enugu State Command at the State Headquarters, G.R.A., Enugu, on March 8, 2023.

During the lecture, which is in preparation for the forthcoming 2023 state-level elections, the DIG commended personnel of the Command for conducting themselves professionally and complying with NPF Election Security Guidelines in the last national-level elections, tasking them to sustain the tempo, remain apolitical, and ensure a level playing field for all and sundry.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Ammani, while warmly welcoming the DIG, reassured him of the Command’s commitment to surpassing the successes recorded in the last national-level elections in the state by strictly complying with the election security provisions of the amended Electoral Act 2022, the NPF Election Security Guidelines, and the Inspector-General of Police’s (IGP Usman Alkali Baba’s directives on election security.
