The Benue State Police Commissioner, CP. Okoro Alawari Julius has assured the people of Benue state of adequate security arrangements for the 2023 Eid-El-Kabir Celebration.
According to a press release signed by the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Anene Sewuese Catherine, said that in his directives, the CP ordered that all entry and exit routes in the state should be properly secured.
He ordered all Area Commanders, Divisional police officers, and Tactical commanders to personally lead the Sallah Security operation.
They are to also ensure high visibility and confidence-building patrols around prayer grounds, Event Centers, Residential Areas, and other places of public resort to ensure a hitch-free celebration.
The CP felicitates with all Muslim faithful in the state and urges them to pray for the peace and stability of Benue state.
