Elected Ex-Inf Minister’s Son, Gana Pledges Quality Representation

Mr Joshua Gana, member-elect for Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, has pledged to bring speedy development to the constituency, if sworn in .

Gana, son of the former Minister of Information, Prof. Jerry Gana, made the promise when he visited Dr Henry Ndukuba, the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communiion in Abuja.

He said provision of quality representation would bring speedy development to the constituency and also promote peace and improve the standard of living of his constituents.

The member-elect said that the visit was to present his Certificate of Return to the primate and seek for his blessings and prayers to succeed.

“By God’s grace, as member representing Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, I hope to bring, as the word of God said in Joshua, their inheritance in their land.

“It is my duties as their representative to bring everything that is for them in the nation.

“I will ensure quality, sound and effective representation at the House of Representatives, to change the lives of my people positively,” he said.

Gana promised not to disappoint the people of his constituency and others while performing his legislative duties.

He called on all and sundry to support him to succeed.

Responding, Dr Henry Ndukuba, the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communiion Abuja, appreciated Gana and his entourage for the visit.

He congratulated Gana on his “well deserved” victory at the poll and prayed God to protect, guide and bless him abundantly.

“I want to congratulate you for the success and victory at the poll given to you by the God Almighty and the people of your constituency.

“Your victory gave us joy and hope and its shows that diligence, faithfulness and hard work pays; above all, your regard for ordinary citizens,” the man of God said.

He urged Gana to be good ambassador of the Church, his constituency and the country at large.

The primate charged the member-elect to live by Godliness and show the light of God in the National Assembly.
