IGP Egbetokun Honoured As Fellow Society For Peace Studies And Practice

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun was Tuesday honoured with the title of Fellow by the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP).

A statement on Tuesday, 21st November 2023 signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said that the investiture ceremony, which was held at Dennis Hotel, Wuse, Abuja, was attended by prominent figures and government officials, who celebrated IGP Egbetokun’s remarkable contributions to maintaining peace and security in Nigeria. As a seasoned law enforcement officer, his leadership has been marked by a dedication to professionalism.

In his acceptance speech, IGP Egbetokun expressed gratitude for the honour and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to address the multifaceted challenges facing the nation. The IGP further assured the Society of Police’s unalloyed partnership towards the capacity development of officers and men through continuous training and retraining.
