IGP Engages US Senior Advisor Shaun J. Gavin, Discusses Areas Of Partnership On Special Intervention Squad

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun has engaged in further purposive discussions with Senior Advisor Shaun J. Gavin, representing the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the United States Embassy in Abuja in a landmark meeting on Monday, October 16th at the Hilton Bayfront, San Diego.

A statement on Wednesday, 18th October 2023 signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said that the focus of the dialogue centered on fortifying the collaboration between the two nations in the realm of law enforcement, particularly concerning the establishment and operationalization of the Special Intervention Squad (SIS).

Expressing mutual commitment, the IGP and Senior Advisor Shaun J. Gavin deliberated on key areas of partnership aimed at bolstering the SIS.
