The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has lauded the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood, for his efforts in sustaining peace and security across Lagos.
Obasa gave the commendation on Wednesday during a brief remark, describing the police commissioner’s performance as commendable. He noted that the Assembly has continued to receive regular briefings from CP Moshood on police activities in the state, stressing that his contributions to public safety cannot be overlooked.
“We cannot ignore the wonderful job he is doing, as he consistently briefs us on his activities. We thank you for being with us and for sustaining peace and security in Lagos State. We pray that Almighty Allah will continue to guide and support you,” the Speaker said.
CP Olohundare Jimoh, has been credited with restoring and sustaining peace across the state through intensified crime-fighting strategies.
Under his leadership, the Lagos State Police Command has recorded notable successes in tackling criminal activities, including armed robbery, cultism, kidnapping, and other forms of violent crime. These efforts have contributed to improved public safety and enhanced confidence among residents.
Stakeholders and community leaders have commended CP Moshood for adopting proactive policing measures, strengthening intelligence gathering, and ensuring regular engagement with the public. His administration is also noted for effective coordination with other security agencies to maintain law and order.
