The organizers of Nigeria’s biggest grassroots Football Tournament, the Bayelsa State Governor’s Cup christened Prosperity Cup, have congratulated the deputy governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo on the occasion of his 58 birthday.
The organizers in a congratulatory message by the Director General of the tournament Mr. Ono Akpe described the deputy governor as humble, brilliant, hardworking, dynamic, and meticulous.
The statement notes that Senator Ewhrudjakpo is an administrator who has an uncommon insight, vision, and sense of patriotism towards the stability and development of not only Bayelsa State but also Nigeria
According to him, his administrative abilities and high sense of commitment to the vision of His Excellency Senator Douye Diri have ensured peace, and harmonious co-existence and created an enabling atmosphere for enhanced productivity in various communities across the state.
The statement pointed out that his penchant for hard work has helped to fashion the governor’s dream in the sports sector come true almost seamlessly in the last three and half years in Bayelsa.
The D-G further describes the celebrant as Mr Fix It, pointing out that the swift response to issues was pivotal to the Prosperity Cup success story.
Mr. Akpe notes that the LOC is happy and proud to have worked with the Deputy Governor in making the Prosperity Cup a success story thereby creating an unprecedented grassroots development with the various innovations in the Prosperity Cup, assemblage of talents from the tournament to participate in the Africa Youth Championship in Cape Verde.
