The Editorial Board of Swift Publishing Company Limited, publisher of Swift Reporters has commended the Telcom Satellite TV for been the first to implement the pay-per-view model in Nigeria.
In a press release signed by its Publisher, Adewole Kehinde on Thursday in Abuja, the Editorial Board said the Telcom Satellite TV has really proven that monopoly can be broken as TSTv Channels is now available for as low as N1 per day and as high as N2 for a channel.
It will be recalled that on Wednesday at a media briefing in Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer of Telcom Satellite TV (TStv), Bright Echefu has said that in bid to provide quality and affordable service to Nigerians, pay-per-view company have in the spirit of love and understanding of the current economic upheaval decided to reduce the charge per channel for its customers and intending customers to a maximum of ₦2 and a minimum of ₦1.
On September 29, Telcom Satellites TV (TStv), a Nigerian satellite TV service, announced its comeback after its initial launch in 2017.
TStv claimed that the period of silence was used to internally build trust and a competitive business that will serve Nigerians well.
