The FCT Police Command has arrested four suspected armed robbers along Nyanya axis.
In a press release signed by the FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Yusuf Mariam, she said that the suspects Nurudeen Auwal 19 years, Auwal Adamu 18 years, Alamin Ibrahim 18 years and Nafiu Bala 19 years all male, were arrested by Police Operatives of Nyanya Division during a routine patrol.
According to the Command Spokeswoman, she said that the suspects who were caught in the act confessed to being members of a seven-man syndicate terrorizing Nyanya. Effort is underway to arrest the fleeing suspects.
The Exhibits recovered includes; one dagger, two long machetes, one 40 inches flat screen television, two techno phones, three wrist watches, one ATM card, sixteen (N16,000) thousand Naira cash and two power banks.
The suspects will be arraigned in court upon conclusion of investigation.
The Command implores residents to report all suspicious movements to the Police.
