Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commiserated with the Chairman of Dukku Local Government Council, Alhaji Jamilu Ahmed Shabewa over the demise of his wife, Hajiya Maryam who died yesterday after a brief illness.
In a press release on Tuesday, 15th June, 2021 signed by the Director-General (Press Affairs)Gombe Government House, Ismaila Uba Misilli, he said that in his condolence message, the Governor said he received with sadness the news of the passing of the late Hajiya Maryam, describing the deceased as a humble and committed house wife, mother and family pillar who played significant role in the upbringing of her children and in keeping the family happy.
Governor Yahaya, on behalf of the Government and people of Gombe state, extended his deep condolences to the family of Alhaji Jamilu Shabewa and the entire people of Dukku Local Government area over the sorrowful loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.
