…Leads Government Functionaries to funeral prayer
Earlier today, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya led Gombe State Government officials to attend the funeral prayer of late Alhaji Shehu Sa’idu Yayi, who died in the early hours of Tuesday 8th February 2022 after a protracted illness.
According to a press release on Tuesday, 8th February 2022 signed by the SSA (New Media) to Gombe Governor, Sulaiman Musa Arzoo, he said that Late Alhaji Shehu was father in law to the Director-General, press affairs, Ismaila Uba Misilli.
The funeral prayer was held at the deceased’s residence in Dawaki quarters with hundreds of sympathizers in attendance.
Shortly after the funeral prayer, the Governor conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members, his Director-General press affairs, Ismaila Uba Misilli, residents of Dawaki Community, the deceased’s contemporaries, and other friends and sympathizers that attended the funeral rituals.
The Governor, whole urging the bereaved family members to take solace over the huge loss, prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
The Governor was accompanied to the funeral by Honorable Commissioners, Special advisers, heads of some statutory bodies, and other government officials.
