COVID-19: Police Boss Donates Relief Materials To Less Privileged

The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Operations, DIG Abdulmajid Ali, has tolled the line of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration and other philanthropists to give out palliatives worth more than 1.5 million naira to the less privileged at Lugbe Area in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Thursday.

In a press release signed by the Personal Assistant to DIG DOPS, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, mnipr, he said that the Police boss,who derives pleasure in putting smiles on the faces of Nigerians and adding values to mankind, runs a Non-Governmental Organization named MJ Foundation,having many Orphanges in Kontagora, Niger State and some other parts of the country; and has been giving scholarships, health care services and empowerments to many Nigerians over the past decade.

The relief items, which were shared amidst COVID-19 preventive measures, by the immediate members of the Deputy Inspector General of Police led by his philanthropic and kind-hearted wife, Hajjia Idiat Ali, included rice, beans, beverages, fruits and clothings.

The Police boss however seized the opportunity to educate and appeal to the residents of Lugbe Area of the FCT and other Nigerians that COVID-19 is real, and every Nigerian should collaborate with the Federal Government of Nigeria and governments at all levels to fight the pandemic which is inimical to our existence and national development. He further felicitated with Islamic faithful on the incoming ramadan period , and prayed that the Almighy Allah (SWT) heals our land of the pandemic.
