The FCT Police Command has commenced a raid on mountains in Abuja
Recall that bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal elements terrorizing the FCT, especially in border communities, have their enclaves built around the mountains in Abuja.
The Command, acting on intelligence, raided mountains and destroyed the hideouts of kidnappers in the Kwali Area Council of the FCT.
Mountains in Yangoje and Old Chukuku in the Kwali Area Council have so far been cleared of criminal hideouts by the police.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in Charge of Operations, Ben Igwe, said the operation would be sustained until all criminal elements were dislodged from the territory.
