It is no longer news, that Gombe state is among the few states in Nigeria that enjoy relative peace for quite a long period, particularly from 2019 to date.
Security is receiving serious attention from the present administration as His Excellency’s zero tolerance to the insecurity of whatever form is second to none.
As the 2023 general elections draw nearer, political jobbers from the opposition PDP are doing all they can to return to power just to quench their thirst for it to satisfy their ego, not for the interest of the people.
The recent fracas in Billiri Town was amicably resolved by the Government and the lives and properties of Gombawas regardless of tribe or religion are secured
It’s unfortunate when some PDP apologists in the name of opposition are trying to bring back the already settled case to mislead the good people of Gombe south for their selfish political interest.
The approach his excellency used to quickly curtailed the escalation of the Billiri fracas was the only evidence behind the quick amicable resolution of the case and it is commendable by all the law-abiding citizens of Gombe state
The PDP and all other evil planners should note that propaganda and cheap blackmail can never return Gombe to doom days where political vultures share state resources with their godfathers while poor Gombawas and retirees are dying in abject poverty due to the wickedness of ungodly leaders of PDP extraction.
Indeed this desperation of theirs will never pay. The people of Gombe are wise enough to shun the ways of these “bad eggs” and work in unity to catapult the state to greater heights.
