Alhaji Muhammad Rufai-Muhammad, Falaki Nupe, an APC gubernatorial aspirant in Niger State has urged Nigerians to steer clear of money politics
This, he said was necessary as the 2023 general elections are fast approaching
In his Sallah message to the people in Bida on Monday, the aspirant stated that money politics was a bad omen to Nigeria politics as well as the entrenchment of globally acclaimed democratic tenets
According to him, the Nigerian electorates should elect credible people who will deliver the direly needed dividends of democracy.
Rufai-Muhammad said that doing otherwise will only bring egocentric and unpatriotic leaders whose preoccupation will only know their pockets and tenets and those of their cronies.
“All Nigerians should be vigilant as well as focused on principles and issues and not prediabetes,” he said
The APC aspirant has emphasized for all Muslim faithful to sustain prayers and other good virtues exhibited during the holy month to build an egalitarian society.
He also called on Muslim believers to use the period to sustain their prayers for the nation to overcome its challenges, especially the success of the upcoming general election in the country.
While congratulating the Muslim ummah for successfully coming to the end of the Ramadan fast, Rufai-Muhammad called for support for the less privileged ones in the society to give them a sense of belonging.
The Falaki Nupe appealed to youths to remain committed to constituted authorities, championing the course of peace, unity, and development in society.
