In recent times, there has been unsolicited advice to Deltans by some political charlatans of the opposition party in the State and their errand boys on who should govern Deltan State. Meanwhile, in the course of dishing out their uncanny advice, they ended up exposing their ungodly and evil intentions towards the greatest number of Deltans.
Rather than the leadership of the opposition convincing Deltans on how they intend to add value to the lives of Deltans and/or doing things differently, they rather soak themselves in political mudslinging, pedestrian inanities, and doctoring of speeches of the highly accepted Delta State PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori. Well, that is what the opposition in Delta State, particularly APC messengers of falsehood stand for from their days of incubation till date! Deltans are therefore not surprised.
The Sheriff Oborevwori that majority of Deltans know is an analytical mind. He does not talk with reckless abandon. Unlike some political jobbers whose sole interest in 2023 is how to lay hands on the State vault and turn it to their family estate like they did in the past and are still doing up till date in regards to the miniature Federal Government projects they influenced to the State, Sheriff Oborevwori has lived his entire life in Delta State and knows what Deltans want at this point in time.
The man, Sheriff Oborevwori is locally bred and fed with wisdom. No wonder, he is referred to as a man with excessive street credibility. Majority of Deltans believe that his experience of the executive workings of State machinery under Chief James Ibori, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, and his present position as the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, and National Vice-Chairman of Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria has prepared him for the task ahead which is the governance of the State for the good and wellbeing of the majority.
The so-called “opposition” in the State should think of channeling their energies towards meaningful ventures. Blackmail, lies, and attempts to promote hatred against Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, and PDP Candidates in the 2023 general elections will not stop APC and her likes from the colossal defeat that awaits them in Delta State.
Deltans are wiser now. They are far above the 2014/2015 and 2019 APC hoodwink that brought Nigerians to the sorry state they found themselves under the APC-led Federal Government.
Feelers from the political field show that Deltans are happier and ready to vote Sheriff Oborevwori as the Governor of Delta State, come 2023, rather than give their support to APC “Movoriole” and his men who are without conscience.
