The Kwara State Police Command in conjunction with other security stakeholders has rescued of one the two kidnapped victims; Alhaji Tunde Buhari, Chairman of the Oluwalose community in Okolowo, Ilorin.
According to a press release on Wednesday, 11th January 2023 signed by the Kwara State Police Command Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, said that this information becomes necessary to calm the nerves of the families and friends of the victims and to also assure that the police in the command can get the remaining victim rescued unharmed, and that process is in top gear.Â
The Command also said that the victim has been handed over to the family for a comprehensive medical examination.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State, CP Paul Odama has assured the good people of Kwara State of their safety at all times.
He also advised members of the public to pay more attention to their security and be more conscious of their environment.
