The LOC of the 2023 Bayelsa Governor’s Football Competition, otherwise tagged “Prosperity Cup” has announced dates for the screening exercise for some selected players who were spotted by coaches during this year’s tournament.
According to a press release signed by the Chairman of, the Technical Committee, Diseye Nwankwe, said that the 2-day screening exercise runs from Tuesday, July 25 to Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Ovom, Yenagoa. All selected players are to report by 8 am at the main bowl.
About a hundred players who have been identified and invited are requested to make themselves available for screening and assessment by a cast of top coaches and technical experts including Imama Amapakabor, Kennedy Boboye, and Diepriye Teibowei.
Nwankwe however said that only invited players are expected to attend the programme
