A grassroots political support group that was set up to mobilize grassroots support for the actualization of President Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition and every other candidate that contested under the umbrella of APC, ProjectBeyond2023 has endorsed Hon. Engr. Sola Olofin as Minister of Youth Affairs.
Addressing the media on Monday, a member of BAT Vanguard National Strategy Group, Hon. Michael Balogun said that Hon. Engr. Sola Olofin is a man who has shown capacity in different areas of his endeavours.
The statement read, “Project 2023 Beyond was able to set up campaign structures in all 36 states including the FCT. Structures were equally set up in the 774 LGAs, wards, and down to the units across the country.
“The Organization worked assiduously for the success of PBAT and all the APC Candidates in the last general elections
“Honorable Sola Olofin is the Founder and Convener of BAT Vanguard, he is a PBAT die-hard supporter. He did everything at his disposal through BAT Vanguard to ensure that PBAT was victorious in the APC presidential primary and the presidential elections. He initiated life-saving programs like the BAT CARE PROJECT, which was aimed at ameliorating the burdens of those who could not pay hospital bills. The BAT CARE PROJECT was able to pay for hospital bills of the less privileged in hospitals across the country. The BAT CARE PROJECT also took care of students’ uniforms and books across the country.
“Hon. Olofin has been a committed member of the Party since the days of AC, ACN, and now APC. He has never been defeated despite contesting in several elections and was denied a ticket after having won the primary. He championed President Tinubu’s mandate against all odds.
The group further gave 12 reasons why the Nigerian youths are yearning for hon. Sola Olofin namely: He is a person the president and the Nigerian youths can trust. he will protect the interest of the party and that of the Nigerian youth at large; He is a youth, he is a dependable member of the youth constituency and part of the group that proposed the “not too young to run bill”; He is a combination of brain, compassion, competence, character and sound leadership quality; He is an employer of labour, 100% of his workforce are youths; He is the founder and convener of bat vanguard, one of the leading grassroots political support groups that worked for the president’s ambition and APC as a whole.
He is also the MD/CEO, of Satcom Irl, an indigenous ICT company; He is deeply loved by the Nigerian youths across the county; He knows the needs and the challenges of the Nigerian youths; He is a goal-getter; He will be of immense value to the youths and the nation at large if appointed to serve as the minister of youth affairs; He enjoys cordial relationships with APC leadership and the majority of the ministers and other senior government officials and he will use the position to create opportunities for Nigerian youths as well as address vices associated with them.
The Group, on behalf of the Nigerian youths, solicit President Tinubu and the leadership of the party, the APC, to please harken to the wishes of the Nigerian youths by appointing Hon. Sola Olofin to lead the youth ministry as Honorable Minister of Youth Affairs.
