Enugu Police Commissioner Meets Supervisory Officers

.… Commends operatives doggedness in crime busting

The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, has commended officers and men of the command for quickly aligning themselves with the policing strategies initiated to tackle acts of crime and criminality in the State.

A statement signed by the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said that the CP stated this during his Monthly Conference with Senior and Supervisory Officers of the Command’s Departments, Area Commands, Formations, Divisions, Tactical Teams, and sections, which was held at the Senior Police Officers Mess, Agbani Road, Enugu, on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

The Commissioner, while commending the doggedness of the Command’s Operatives in busting criminals and their activities in the State, cautioned the Supervisory Officers to ensure utmost professionalism and shunning acts of corruption, particularly extortion, by their subordinates. He warns that anyone found wanting will be severely sanctioned.

Furthermore, the CP appreciated the support received from law-abiding citizens, urging them to continue to keep faith with the Police in the fight against crimes.

He reiterated the Command’s avowed commitment to stamp out unrepentant criminals and their activities in the State.
