The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Command Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Adebowale Williams has said that all hands must be on deck to tackle the recent security challenges within the FCT and its environs since security is everybody’s business.
According to a press release on Wednesday, 18th October 2023 signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 7 Police Command Headquarters, Abuja, DSP M.B Abdulkadir, said that in recent times, the FCT has witnessed series of nefarious activities, which calls for concern, the Zone 7 Command Headquarters has placed a generous reward for individuals with reliable information that will lead to the arrest, and prosecution of perpetrators on the recent menaces of one-chance and kidnapping activities in the FCT.
The Zone 7 Command Headquarters is also using this medium to inform the good people of FCT to be vigilant at all times and report any suspicious movement or persons to the police through the FCT Police Command Emergency lines; 08061581938, 07057337653.
Meanwhile, people are advised to go about their lawful business as the police and other security agencies have put in place adequate security to forestall future occurrences.
