The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu uzuegbu on Wednesday, 18th October 2023, received and interacted with the leadership of the Anambra and Enugu Chapters of the University of Port-Harcourt Alumni Association, led by Dr. Ozo Ferdinand Anikwe, in his Office at the State Headquarters, GRA Enugu.
According to a press release signed by the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe said that the Commissioner, who is also an Alumnus of the University, warmly welcomed the visitors, tasking them to continue to be good ambassadors of the Institution, especially by contributing to the peace and security of the society.
Earlier in his speech, Dr. Anikwe informed the CP that they were in his Office to show solidarity and encourage him to keep up the good work of proactively policing Enugu State. He pledged the continued support of the Association to the Commissioner and Police in the State.
The CP was joined by ACP Hope Isiani Okereke, the Assistant Commissioner Department of Finance and Administration, and Staff Officers of the Command to receive and interact with the visitors.
