Barely three days to the gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State, suspected political thugs have attacked the resident of a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Diekievie Ikiogha, in Yenagoa.
Ikiogha was the Chief of State to former Governor Dickson during his first tenure from 2012 to 2015. it was learnt that the attack took place in the night.
The Network gathered that the thugs attacked the PDP chieftain’s residence with dynamite at Kpansia, close to the Yenagoa residence of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Also, two people were shot at the popular Opolo Roundabout on Tuesday.
A video of the grisly incident shows people trying to rush the victims to the hospital in a blood-stained car.
