In yet another recognition of his efforts since becoming the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has been honoured with the Most Responsive Social Media Personality by Swift Publishing Company Ltd., publishers of Swift Reporters.
The award presentation was done by the Deputy Inspector General of Police in Charge of Training and Development, DIG Frank Emeka Mba, mni, fnipr.
Adejobi received the award at the just concluded Police Public Relations Officers Conference at the Havillah Hotel & Suites, Uyo, Akwa Ibom, on Thursday.
Other recipients of the award include SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who bagged the Best Police Public Relations Officer (Southwest), DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who bagged the Best Police Public Relations Officer (Southeast), and DSP Bright Edafe, who bagged the Best Police Public Relations Officer (South-South).
Also, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil bagged the Best Police Public Relations Officer (Northeast), SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa bagged the Best Police Public Relations Officer (Northwest), and SP Anene Sewuese Catherine bagged the Best Police Public Relations Officer (North Central).
Speaking on behalf of the recipients, the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, thanked the organizer of the award and pledged to do more as the award has challenged them to do their best in the coming year.
The Swift Reporters Media Award was given based on the quality of the messages sent out to the media and the public by the Police Public Relations Officers in their respective zones.
