As the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC announced Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 as the official date for all Bye-Elections across the country, in the contest, one that will be of much interest amongst others is that of the Jalingo, Yorro, Zing Federal Constituency of Taraba state, where the very son of the soil, the man of his people; Rt. Hon. Mahmoud Abdulmumini Hamza will be in the race again contesting to represent the wonderful, hardworking, and accommodating people of his Constituency, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Findings within the state’s party structure and among non-partisan members of the public have proven that Hamza is best fit for the job and capable of clinching the party ticket, which will eventually lead to the party’s victory should the Bye-election be held in February. The reason for this fact may probably be a result of his closeness, philanthropic gestures, accessibility with the people, continuous zeal, and passionate efforts in making sure that his people are adequately represented within the national space and accord their fair rights and dividends towards their contributions to the nation”s hard-earned democracy.
Also, as an unapologetic die-hard supporter of Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and his style of leadership in the Renewed Hope Agenda, Hamza has indeed, on countless occasions presented himself as a patriot, a man of his people, by his people and for his people.
Throughout his campaigning period, he will be advocating policies and initiatives aimed at addressing the pressing issues facing his constituency. His campaign platform will emphasize key areas of concern, such as healthcare access, education, infrastructure development, job creation, and security, and he will actively engage with constituents to gather their input and concerns.
I wish to appeal to the members of the progressive body, the party Delegates, and all party faithful, including all lovers of democracy to rally and mobilize all necessary supports for the actualization of Hamza’s political and leadership aspiration.
To this end, wearing the cap upon whom the cap fits, victory is assured for our great part in the forthcoming election.
