The Kwara State Police Command is notifying residents of the state, especially Kwara indigenes who applied to join the Nigeria Police Force, that the screening of applicants who completed the online registration process will begin from Monday, 8th January – 29th January 2024.
A statement signed by the Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ejire-Adeyemi Adetoun said that the venue is the Police Training School (PTS), Ilorin while the time is 7:00 am daily on the date indicated on their invitation slip.
The statement read, “All applicants must show up wearing a crisp white T-shirt, white shorts, and white canvas. They must also bring the following items arranged in two flat files.
i. Evidence of Physical/Mental Fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital.
ii. Evidence of good character from each village/district head of applicants.
iii. Original and duplicate copies of the certificate of origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
iv. Original and duplicate copies of the National Identity Card/Slip.
v. Original and duplicate copies/declaration of age.
vi. Printout of the application form.
vii. A Complete Guarantor’s form duly signed.
viii. Printout of the Invitation Slip.
ix. Current passport photographs.
“Applicant who fails to present any of the above requirements will not be considered for screening. they are also warned to conduct themselves properly.
“Any person or group of persons that have nothing to do with the exercise should not be found within the vicinity of the screening.
“All candidates are advised to visit https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to print their invitation slip.
“Additionally, they are to channel all inquiries to the recruitment help desk by calling or sending WhatsApp messages to 08078255661 or 08108338667.
“The Commissioner of Police CP Victor Olaiya (psc+) warns that the recruitment exercise is FREE and with no pecuniary obligation. He assures members of the public that the entire exercise will be conducted in line with the professional guidelines of the Force.
“While wishing applicants the best of luck, the CP advise them to be wary of online imposters, scammers and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to dupe innocent applicants. Any person caught violating this order will be arrested and prosecuted.
