…. Says Christians should be prepared to sacrifice for A New Nigeria
As Christians all over the world observe and celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr. Solomon Arase has called for national rebirth in the face of the current economic and security challenges.
According to a press release on Friday, 30th March 2024 signed by the PSC Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, said that he urged Christians to use the opportunity of this occasion to pray for a new Nigeria and support the Government in its determined efforts to ensure security of lives and properties across the nation.
According to the PSC Chairman “Let’s use this time to reflect on what binds us together rather than those things that divide us”.
Dr. Arase also called for patriotism and sacrifice just as Christ sacrificed himself for the redemption of mankind.
He enjoined the Staff of the Commission and Members of the Nigeria Police Force to rededicate themselves to the service of the country, adding that Nigeria is a blessed country that is gradually regaining its glory.
He prayed that this Easter should inspire them to a new beginning of happiness, prosperity and abundance.
