FG Repatriates 190 Stranded Nigerians From UAE

A total of 190 stranded Nigerians in the United Arab Emirates, UAE, have been repatriated by the federal government.

According to a press release on Tuesday, 16th July 2024 signed by the Zonal Director NEMA North Central, Bashir Idris Garga, said that they arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on Tuesday morning at about 05:59 am

They were received by a federal government team led by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.

The returnees were profiled and documented by the relevant agencies and sensitized to behave with decorum and responsibility on their return to Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government has urged all Nigerians, wherever they may be, to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, upholding the fundamental values of patriotism, the rule of law, decency, and integrity.
