Integrity Youth Alliance has commended the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mal. Mele Kyari, for ensuring the re-opening of Warri Refinery.

These were contained in a statement signed by the Board Chairman of Integrity Youth Alliance, Adewole Kehinde, and Secretary, Danjuma Lamido, and made available to newsmen in Abuja.

The group said the intensified efforts of the NNPCL were fast paying off, considering the fact that two refineries; Port Harcourt and Warri are producing maximally now.

“We are elated by the news that the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company (WRPC) is going into operation after several years of inactivity, with the 125,000 (bpd) now operating at 60% capacity.”

“The Integrity Youth Alliance hopes that Nigeria’s economy will improve and that Nigerians will have simpler living conditions as a result. Mal. Mele Kyari, the NNPCL GCEO, took the initiative to make all of these achievable, the statement concluded.
