The Integrity Youth Alliance, an organisation that has been monitoring the development trends in the Nigeria Police Force for over 15 years, has countered the false publication by Sahara Reporters.
According to a press release on Thursday, 22nd May 2025, signed by the National Coordinator, Kelvin Adegbenga, Crown Natures Nigeria is an indigenous company and has its relevant documents to substantiate its activity.
“Crown Natures Nigeria was registered in March 2006 and began operation in October 2006.
“Its line of business is textile and garment-related manufacturing, while its products include uniforms (Security, industrial and school), T-shirts, men’s boxers, Shirts, Sportswear, Mosquito nets, PPEs, and Medical Scrubs. Its factory is located at the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos state.
“We can categorically say that Crown Natures Nigeria followed due process in bidding for the contract and is also registered with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) and has compliance certificates from various agencies such as the National Pension Commission (PENCOM), the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), and a valid tax clearance certificate.
Adegbenga further said that the records are there for all to see that Crown Natures Nigeria, as an indigenous company, was qualified for the contract and has added advantages due to its quality production of uniforms (security and industrial).
“We wish to enlighten Sahara Reporters that Crown Natures Nigeria is a trustworthy company that is honest, reliable, and punctual and will never be involved in a shady contract, as falsely reported by Sahara Reporters, the statement said.
