The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari welcomed a delegation from the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) on a courtesy visit to NNPC Towers in Abuja on Monday.
Represented by the Executive Vice President, Downstream, Mumuni Dagazau, Ojulari engaged with the IPMAN team, led by National President Abubakar Maigandi Shettima Garima, in discussions aimed at strengthening ties and exploring new opportunities in Nigeria’s energy sector.
The meeting underscored the long-standing partnership between NNPC Ltd. and IPMAN, with both parties acknowledging IPMAN’s pivotal role as a key stakeholder in the downstream oil and gas industry.
Deliberations centred on collaborative prospects, particularly in the compressed natural gas (CNG) initiative, which is gaining traction as a cleaner and more sustainable energy alternative. Additionally, the talks explored potential synergies in other oil and gas ventures to enhance efficiency and drive growth in the sector.
The courtesy visit reflects NNPC Ltd.’s commitment to fostering robust relationships with industry stakeholders and advancing innovative solutions to meet Nigeria’s energy demands.
