The Delta State Peoples Democratic Party has released details for Local Government Council Elections schedule for 6th March, 2021.
According to the notice signed by the Delta State PDP Chairman, Olorogun (Barr) Kingsley Esiso, sales of forms to aspirants will commence on Friday, 11th to Wednesday, 16th December, 2020 while screening of aspirants will commence from Thursday, 17th to Friday, 18th December, 2020.
Appeals arising from Screening will take place on Saturday, 19th December, 2020.
It is expected that ward congress to elect Councillorship candidates and 3 Ad-Hoc delegates will take place by Monday, 21st December, 2020.
Appeals arising from Councillorship Primaries and 3 ward Ad-Hoc delegate’s election will take place on Tuesday, 22nd December, 2020.
Party primaries for Chairmen will take place on Wednesday, 23rd December, 2020 while party run-off primaries, if any, will take place on Monday, 28th December, 2020.
