Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has paid glowing tributes to the late Architect Stanley Buba, describing the demise of the former chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area, as a great loss not only to his immediate family but the community, Nasarawa State and the country at large.
Engineer Sule who personally visited the home of the deceased in Andaha, Akwanga Local Government Area, to condole with the family of the departed politician and administrator, on Saturday, prayed God to give the family, relatives and friends of the late Stanley Buba, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Governor described his former Senior Special Assistant on Development Control, as a unique person, enbued with a distinct character that enabled him discharged his responsibility successfully.
He used the opportunity of the condolence visit to commend the unity and peaceful coexistence among the community, describing the Mada Land as the most accommodating, where people from various tribes live together in peace and harmony.
The Governor urged the people to sustain the peace and to live with each other in harmony.
While appealing to the immediate family of the late Stanley Buba, to see his death as an act of God, Engineer Sule, as a mark of respect, assured the family that Stanley’s last appointment, will be retained within the family.
He equally promised to renovate the Mada Community Secondary School Andaha.
Responding on behalf of the family, father of the deceased, Hon. Buba, thanked the Governor for taking time out of his tight schedule to personally identify with the family in their time of grief.
The late Architect Stanley Buba died Thursday night in his home in Andaha. Until his death, Stanley Buba held various positions including the Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area, as well as interim state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Until his death, he is a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Development Control.
Earlier, the Governor condoled with the family of the late Suleiman Bisalla in Akwanga.
