Governor of Niger state and Chairman North Central Governors Forum (NCGF) Abubakar Sani Bello was among numerous dignitaries that were in Kano State to attend the burial of Hajiya Fatima (Fanta) Garba Mohammed the immediate younger sister to late General Sani Abacha.
The deceased is also the Mother of Senator Basheer Mohammed (Lado), Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.
Governor Sani Bello at the burial, described late Hajiya Fanta as a complete mother who spent the vital part of her life putting smiles on people irrespective of their status or background.
He said she equally dedicated her time to bring up her children in the ways of Allah.
The NCGF Chairman said, “Losing her to death is a sad one because everyone will always want to see his parents alive even though Allah’s wish is superior to ours and He decides our fate”
He enjoined the family to be consoled by the fact that the deceased lived a good life and prayed Allah to forgive all the shortcomings of late Hajiya Fanta and grant her soul Aljanna Firdausi as well as give them immediate family, extended family, and close associates of the
deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
