…Calls for Support for Tinubu’s Administration
The Founder and Global Coordinator of Asiwaju Progressive Forum and Tinubu National Think-tank, Amb Hon. (Chief) Adewale Adeogun has been conferred with Ambassador of Peace and Traditional title of ‘Jakadan Arewa’ by the Arewarmu Duniyarmu Association of Nigeria in Gombe State, North East Nigeria.
This was as Hon. Adeogun urged all Nigerians to support the Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu so that it could succeed and move Nigeria forward.
The conferment was held at the Palace of Emir Gombe, His Eminence Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
A notification letter sighted by our correspondent stated that the award, Ambassador of Peace to Hon. Adeogun was in recognition of his talented experiences in seeking Peace among the States in the Northern and other parts of Nigeria.
The title was conferred on Hon. Adeogun during the World Hausa Day Celebration on Saturday, August 26 under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna, the Sarkin Hausawan Tukulma in Gombe State.
During the conferment, reference was made to Adeogun’s continuous efforts in ensuring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu became Nigerian President and his efforts in another Nigerian Project were also applauded.
The new ‘Jakadan Arewa’ has been in the Asiwaju Project for more than 10 years, and he is one of the few patriotic Nigerians, who mounted pressure on President Bola Ahmed Tunubu to vie for the number one seat in the country. Thankfully, Tinubu yielded to the call, contested, and won the February 25, 2023 Presidential Election.
Hon. Adeogun who is the DG of the Coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Groups COASUG.
The new Jakadan Arewa led other National and state coordinators of Support Groups to campaign vigorously for the emergence of President Tinubu in February 2023.
He canvassed for all Nigerians to support the government of President Tinubu. He was quoted to have said that the removal of fuel subsidy was necessary to help the nation and pleaded with the masses to exercise more patience as things will soon become easier in the country with Tinubu at the helm of affairs in the country.
Chief Adewale Jelili Adeogun stated that Tinubu National Thinktank (TNT), a new group, is primarily meant for governance, noting that the Organization will put pressure on the Government to ensure that it delivers on the promises, which President Tinubu made during his electioneering campaigns.
“The irony of life is that everyone wants good things in life. So many people are now identifying with President Tinubu and they are trying to push us behind, but we will not go to sleep. I vigorously campaigned with him in All States. We will not allow them to take the shine off us because if we did not start the process, they won’t have something to benefit today,” he said.
Hon. Adeogun therefore said that all hands must be on deck in ensuring that President Tinubu-led government succeeds.
He said: “Our other aim is to keep the opposition in check.
He also pledged to bring other Political Parties Stalwarts on Board for a seamless Development of Nigeria. He however advised critiques of the President to take things easy.
We are not saying don’t criticize but do it constructively.
In other development, he advised the Newly Inaugurated Ministers to help the President in the Conduct of their Various Ministries as he vowed that TNT would monitor their Conduct for the overall benefit of all Nigerians.
No country is run by ghosts, it is run by people. Politics is the worst thing that you can put your hands into but at the same time, it is the best thing to do. We want to work with the government so that they will succeed.”
