The Advocacy Support Group (ASG) today issued a press statement expressing its profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for his exemplary leadership and commitment to good governance in Benue State.
The group, with a membership exceeding 500,000 spread across all 23 local government areas, also extended its heartfelt congratulations to Honourable Commissioner-nominee Hon. Denis Ter Iyaghigba.
In a statement signed by the support group’s head of Media, Advocacy and Sensitisation, Mr. Lubem Gena, which was made available to newsmen today emphasised that the ASG’s leadership praised Governor Alia’s choice of Hon. Iyaghigba’s nomination signifies a new dawn, where qualified professionals and experts are entrusted with the responsibility of navigating Benue state towards an assured and mutual prosperity.
“His vast experience and proven track record will undoubtedly bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to the challenges facing our state.
“Our leader will definitely deploy his wealth of experience and global reach to bring about constructive policies to deepen the vibrant development efforts of Benue state as championed our servant-leader, Rev. Fr. Dr. Alia”, the statement noted.
The Advocacy Support Group reiterated its unwavering resolve to support Governor Alia’s administration.
The group’s extensive membership base stands ready to continuously back the governor’s good governance initiatives, progressive policies, and his commendable target of lifting millions of Benue indigenes out of poverty. The ASG remains committed to mobilizing its members and working hand-in-hand with the government to ensure the successful implementation of all programs aimed at improving the lives of the Benue people.
