APC Chieftain Eze Taunts Joe Igbokwe

…… saying, “Stupidity has finished you.”
…… Calls Him A Demented Saboteur, Unrepentant Prodigal Street Urchin….Supports Sowore’s One Million Match
….. Commends Momodu, Gov Otti, Rev Fr Mbaka, Abaribe etc For Seeking Kanu’s Release

“…..He expressed dismay that the Igbos are hated by this government, and wondered why President Bola Tinubu, prides himself as a democrat when he is in essence, an ethnic bigot, and a nepotist, going by his anti-Igbo policies.

Today, a State in the South West has four ministers, while the whole State East is allotted only two substantive ministerial positions and three State ministerial positions. Yet, the likes of Igbokwe are playing gutter politics for personal aggrandisement, and have kept blind eyes to this anomaly. …”

A former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has taunted a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Hon. Joe Igbokwe, describing him as a demented saboteur, who will stop at nothing to betray and backstab his Igbo brothers because of a pot of porridge.

Categorically, Eze called Joe Igbokwe, a habitual and unrepentant prodigal street urchin, who has allowed stupidity to adulterate his sense of reasoning.

Chief Eze was reacting to a statement credited to Joe Igbokwe, wherein he urged President Bola Tinubu not to drop the alleged terrorism charge against the Biafran Nation Agitator, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

In a press statement on Monday, Eze condemned Igbokwe for his numerous acts of sabotage, which he said, have greatly undermined the progress, peace and unity of Igbos.

“It is with total disappointment that I address the reckless, stupid, and foolish actions of Joe Igbokwe, whose deliberate sabotage and betrayal of the Igbos have continued to threaten the stability and advancement of the Igbo race.

“Igbokwe’s scathing remarks against the person of Nnamdi Kanu is not only irresponsible, misconceived but a direct affront on the Igbos.

“Without mincing words, Igbokwe’s actions reveal a blatant disregard for the collective welfare and an alarming willingness to prioritize personal agendas over the common good.

“Categorically, I abhor and condemn Igbokwe’s attempt to undermine the integrity of our collective efforts in calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu from, and I am urging all stakeholders to stand united against such divisive tactics” Eze stated.

Eze emphasized that Igbokwe’s position on Nnamdi Kanu “Is not only stupid, reckless and foolish but a ranting of a demented fellow, seeking political relevance in Lagos State.

Eze asked Igbokwe to explain exactly, the crime Nnamdi Kanu committed to warrant his incarceration over the years.

“Is Nnamdi Kanu’s agitation different from what Sunday Igboho and others agitated? Today, Igboho and others
are being accorded heroic stance by both the Federal Government and the Yoruba Nation.

“Is it because Kanu is an Igbo man or what, Eze queried.

He argued that Igbokwe seemed not to comprehend that the Federal Government, which he is advising just to curry favour, is releasing, rehabilitating and dialoguing with terrorists and bandits that are maiming and killing Nigerians in droves and even occupying some sections of this country.

“How many Nigerians have Kanu killed to warrant the wicked treatment being meted out on him to the extent that he is being denied access to qualified medical personnel, Eze asked Igbokwe.

The same Igbokwe and his co-Igbo haters are fully aware how Igbos are being driven out of Lagos with their properties destroyed, the APC Chieftain said.

The fact remains that the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), remains one of the most controversial and polarizing issues in Nigeria’s contemporary political landscape. For years, his arrest, extradition, trial, and continued detention have raised fundamental questions about justice, equity, and the Nigerian state’s treatment of dissent — particularly as it pertains to the Southeast region.

He expressed dismay that the Igbos are hated by this government, and wondered why President Bola Tinubu, prides himself as a democrat when he is in essence, an ethnic bigot, and a nepotist, going by his anti Igbo policies.

Today, a State in the South West has four Ministers while the whole State East is allotted only two substantive ministerial positions and three State ministerial positions. Yet, the likes of Igbokwe are playing gutter politics for personal aggrandisement and have kept blind eyes to this anomaly.

However, Eze, an erstwhile member of the APC Legacy Media Team, has commended rights activist Omoyele Sowore, Dele Moomodu, Atiku Abubakar, Father Mbaka, Gov Alex Otti, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and all those who have spoken against the injustices against the Igbos under this administration.

Eze assured all those who stood by the Igbos in this trying period that at the appropriate time, the Igbos will reciprocate the support.

Meanwhile, Eze said he is in full support of the scheduled one million man match to pressure the administration of Tinubu into releasing Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally.

While urging Nigerians of goodwill to come out en mass and join the protest, Eze however appealed that the protest must be non violent, peaceful.

“We have to be vigilant, and orderly. I know that those opposed to Kanu’s release have perfected plans to use thugs and miscreants to hijack the protest in a bid to portray Kanu’s supporters as being violent and unlawful, Eze advised.

All said and done, I am encouraged and motivated by this statement by Muhammadu Sanusi II when he described Kanu as “a man whose conviction goes beyond comfort, and whose sacrifice will be remembered by history.”
