The Women Arise has appealed for cessation of hostilities and return to diplomacy, even as far-fetched as that might seem now.
According to a press release on Friday, 25th February 2022 signed by the President of Women Arise, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, she said that “As we do this, we align with democracy and the rule of law. We stand with justice everywhere and anywhere in the world. We vote that right is right, not might.
“We are in the spirit with all the women and children of/in Ukraine right now…indeed with everyone at the receiving end of Russian missiles at this dark moment in Europe.
“We hope Ukraine will return to peace soonest and Europe will see the light again.
